In 2009 we featured some GREAT Fantasy Football guests talking about teams and the impact certain players would have on their squads as it relates to our hobby.
We featured:
Andrew Crummey now of the Jacksonville Jaguars, then of the Cincinnati Bengals. He gave us a HUGE "heads up" regarding Bernard Scott and told us how good Cedric Benson looked.
Geoff Mosher of Delaware Online and the Sporting News. Geoff is a regular guest, and do you know who he told us would have an impact, a BIG impact in 2009? Brent Celek AND Jason Avant. Geoff nailed both of those and let us know that rookie WR Jeremy Maclin was the real deal as the #2 WR
Anna Megan of the Houston Chronicle. How awesome was she? She told us Jacoby Jones wouldn't be the man at the #2 spot because of Kevin Walter's ability to block for the running game. She also informed us the Arian Foster would get a shot, and he did in the end. She'll be with us again in 2010.
Jay Clemons of Sports Illustrated. He handled the NFL from a Fantasy perspective and gave us a great amount of time. We'll be bring Jay back for sure, he was informative and insightful discussing RBs, WRs and QBs coming up in the 2009 season.
Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. What a GREAT show this was, Jim informed us that Justin Gage and Kenny Britt were looking good; and that the backup to stud RB was really LenDale White AND Javon Ringer.
Orlando Alzugaray of WQAM Radio in Miami. Guess who he let on would be the #1 WR target and reception leader for 2009? Devonne Bess, and he again nailed it for the BFD listeners! He also told us Ricky Williams was truly a backup, and Ricky was until Ronnie got hurt. We'll be sure to grab Orlando again in 2010 and ask about Chad Henne....
Bob Harris and Emil Kadlic of Fantasy Sports Publications. Two HUGE FF names, and great talkers of Fantasy Football. Bob was huge on his calls at QB and WR and Emil just plain solid going around the league. We will grab them again in 2010 and get other FF experts opinons on the BFD show...
Ryan Houston of Fanball. Ryan and I debated RBs, and how much I liked Chris Johnson and he liked Jonathan Stewart. I spent the bulk of the season right; but Stewart finished as a MONSTER. If you listened to Ryan and me; you got yourself some HUGE FF production to finish your FF season.
Greg Ambrosius and Tom Kessinich of Fanball. These two guys run the NFFC and did an excellent job of talking Packers football and the overall Fantasy season about to unfold.
Dave Gerczak and Alex Kaganovsky of the FFPC. Friends, competitors and damn fine FF players each came on to discuss Fantasy Football and what they liked about the 2009 season and players to look for. We don't want the "same old same old" here; we want fresh new voices and both guys added a GREAT element to the shows they were featured on.
We did a full draft month in 2009, it started July 20th and finished in late August. We had guests, insight and great FF questions/discussions all on one months worth of draft preparation shows.
In 2010 there will still be Free Podcasts on Blog Talk Radio BUT we are going to have Podcasts that are BFD subscriber only (a lot of them) You need to subscribe and hear all the great content through the season come 2010.

BFDFantasyfootball.com News Posting Policy: BFD is ALWAYS going to post a link for news when we have a link available. We DON'T always post a Twitter link because they can be from anyone, literally. People can Tweet as someone else, and we are very concerned with delivering REAL news items, from REAL news people. We will post a Twitter link if it is "filed" with someone, as an example Adam Schefter files his Tweets with ESPN, so we will always get you that link.
News papers and TV reports will be reported with the source named. We want to get you the best info, and add our comments to the news so you can get some additional FF insights from Lou.
Rumors: We love rumors of where a player could be heading as much as anyone. We still cannot post every rumor, they are just that...a rumor. Too many of them will screw up how you think a team is going to handle players(see Brandon Marshall 2009). When something happens and its verified, we will gladly post it in our Big Fantasy News area.
